Gracie and Bryce were married at the iconic Tate House in the spring of 2024. The two were childhood sweethearts and always dreamed of having their wedding at the Tate House. They were even able to recreate the photo that Gracie’s parents took on the grand staircase when they wed many years earlier.
Another reason Gracie chose to have her wedding at The Tate House was because of the mansion’s unique pink marble and if there’s one thing this bride loves, it’s pink!

Gracie and her bridesmaids began the day by getting ready in the bridal cottage located just outside the mansion. As soon as I arrive on wedding days I like to find the bride, say hello to her and her bridesmaids/family, introduce myself if need be and then I collect all the wedding details that are needed for those fun and beautiful flat lay detail photos. These items can be anything that is important to the bride to showcase on her big day but I usually suggest including these items to my couples:
Other items I’ve received:
I love flat detail photos because It’s a great way to bring all the small details of the day together and arrange them artistically.
It’s always fun to go outside for a group P.J photo before changing into dresses.
As soon we finished getting ready we went right into Gracie’s first look with her dad in front of the fountain.
Every time I shoot a wedding at The Tate House I love taking advantage of not only the outside of the iconic pink marble mansion but also the inside which showcases the high ceilings with the crystal chandlers and marble white floors.
We continued doing as many photos as we could before the ceremony
During this time of the day the majority of the posed photos are done and the nerves have settled a bit. Everyone takes some time to refresh and sit down before getting lined up for the ceremony.
If time permits, I love taking my couples back out for some golden hour photos. The sun is gorgeous and the bride and groom are both glowing after becoming officially married!
The reception has begun and everyone is ready to eat, drink, and celebrate! But first… a first dance with the bride and groom.
Gracie and Bryce had their dance choreographed and had smiles on their faces from beginning to end.
In addition to the wedding cake, Gracie and Bryce chose to also have a groom’s cake which suited him completely.
It was a breathtaking wedding day for Gracie and Bryce at the wonderful Tate House. Their wedding colors and personalized details suited them 100%. The weather was gorgeous and all and all a perfect day for these two. I am grateful I could be there to capture every moment.
