Haley and Cole tied the knot at Montalucé Winery and Restaurant in Dahlonega, Georgia in the summer of 2023. The two of them started dating in middle school and finally got married after thirteen years of dating! I’m so excited to share their day!

Getting Ready

Details

When I first get to weddings I say hello to the bride and other vendors before finding an area to photograph details on my flat lay from Chasing Stone. These details can be anything my couple deems important, however, I do give a list of suggested items. For the bride: these include the rings (of course), invitations, earrings, necklace, bracelet, shoes, vow book, garter, veil and perfume. the Groom: shoes, tie, tie clips, cuff links, watch, cologne.

I also like to have the boutonnière and bouquet plus some loose blooms and greenery to play around with. Often, my brides will have charms on their flowers, a monogrammed handkerchief, or a family heirloom. Whatever they decide to include, I will photograph it.

Haley

Haley and her bridesmaids began the day getting ready in the bridal suite at Montalucé while they snacked on pizza and salad from the restaurant upstairs. We went just outside the door to pop some champagne together in their getting ready jammies.

Cole

Montalucé Winery has a quant groom’s suite two floors up from the bridal suite which is nice because it really cuts down on the likeliness of the bride and groom seeing each other before they’re supposed to.

After all of the first looks, Haley went to touch up her makeup before getting lined up and ready to go for the ceremony. Although it was hot, which is just what you deal with in the south during the summer, it was a gorgeous day and the big oak tree in the winery offered some much needed shade.

Once cocktail hour began, the family and wedding party joined the other guests as Haley and Cole had their photos taken as husband and wife.

The table settings and cake were provided by the venue, Montalucé Winery. They did a beautiful job and the cake is the best wedding cake I’ve ever had! They also had the venue create a specialty cocktail in these fun little cups that the guests were able to take home which featured their dog, Abbey!

Haley and her bridesmaids have the sweetest relationship. For the last dance, they all huddled up and held each other while tears rolled down their faces as the night came to a close. It was precious.

Conclusion

It was a gorgeous wedding day for Haley and Cole. It was the perfect weather for a wedding day at Montalucé Winery. The plush green grass and winding vineyards set the most beautiful backdrop for a north Georgia wedding and I felt so grateful to be the one to capture it all.
