Jordan and Conner’s Wedding Day

As a photographer, I have been privileged to witness and document countless love stories, each unique and special in its own way. The Historic Charm of The Tate House Built in the late 1920s, The Tate House exudes a sense of history and grandeur. The mansion’s classic second renaissance revival-style architecture, complete with towering white columns and meticulously manicured gardens, creates a fairytale atmosphere that transports couples and their guests to a bygone era. The Tate House is not merely a venue; it’s a living piece of history that adds a touch of magic to any wedding celebration.

Getting Ready

Jordan got ready in the bridal cottage with her bridesmaids and mother. The space is beautifully designed with a full kitchen where snacks and champagne are available. She decided to do a first look with both her mother and grandmother.

First Touch

Jordan and Conner decided to do a first touch located in the front of the mansion around one of the beautiful white columns. The two of them exchanged notes while Jordan also shared a big surprise, which was a small album of boudoir photos I had taken for her during an in-studio session earlier that year at White Wall Studio in Woodstock, Georgia. I have always loved a first touch because it allows the couple to have a moment together while preserving the “first look” moment during the ceremony.

Ceremony

The ceremony took place inside the venue’s glass pavilion, accompanied by a string duo with all the guests seated on acrylic chairs. The pavilion had a breathtaking setting as you stepped through its doors you were greeted by the enchanting beauty of the surroundings. The sprawling gardens, adorned with vibrant flowers right outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, offer a stunning setting for an outdoor or indoor ceremony. The Tate House provides a canvas of natural beauty that effortlessly complements the love shared between Jordan and Conner.

The Tate House also provides all of their design and florals in-house.

When the ceremony ended, Jordan and Conner strolled through the historic estate as I took the opportunity to capture their portraits against the backdrop of the Tate House and throughout the gardens. The feelings of newlywed bliss radiated in each photo, creating images that not only documented the day but also encapsulated the essence of their unique love story.

Bridal Portraits

Timeless elegance continued to unfold inside The Pink Marble Mansion. The interior featured grand staircases, crystal chandeliers, and ornate details that capture the essence of a bygone era.
